Lab of Im_possibilities (LIMP)
3rd – 8th of August 2020, Dangio, Switzerland
The first international Lab of Im_possibilities (LIMP) at Cima Citta invites participants to disconnect from and reflect on their collective realities and possible futures.
The Lab of Im_possibilities is a self organized, open-ended, transdisciplinary space. It spawns an abundance of formats, group discussions & thematic constellations that are established, demolished, reinvented or expanded on a day to day basis.
Dates: Monday 03.08.2020 – Saturday 08.08.2020
Where: LIMP will take place at Cima Norma, a repurposed old chocolate factory in the Italian speaking part of the Swiss alps.
Cost: The cost of participation is 225 CHF (200 EUR) for people with a regular income. It covers board and logging. Thanks to the support of Cima Citta, the association behind the cultural curation of Cima Norma, we can offer free logging for people with lower incomes and for those who have high travel costs to get to this remote part of Switzerland. If you have a high income, you are encouraged to pay more.
Travel: Cima Norma is a 2.5h train ride away from Zurich. You’re responsible to book your own travel, but we’re happy to help out. Get in touch if you are coming from further away and need a place to stay the Sunday before or the day after the Lab, we’ll find free accommodation for you in Zurich. We will also organize carpooling and suggest best connections for trains. In any case, get in touch if you are unsure about how to get there – we’ll provide more info and tips in due time.
Registration is open to anyone, there’s no selection process. There’s a participation limit of ~ 20, due to the size of the house we are staying in. To sign up for the week, send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with the following details:
- Your name, your email and phone number
- A couple of words about yourself, your expectations and your interests
- How much you are able to pay and if you need travel assistance
Looking forward to seeing you all there!
